Our Tutors tutor 8 learners per session, which makes it possible for each learner to reach his or her full potential each term. Our centres have a “homey” environment that makes kids feel at ease and a team of fun, loving Tutors that make them feel loved. IMPAQ’S curriculum is easy to use and are created in such a manner for learners to continue with work on their own before or after tutor sessions. Subjects get tutored in different sessions throughout the day. Progress can be tracked daily by the learner, parent and the Tutor. We mark all the activities and bookwork that’s completed by the learner, to make sure all the work was understood and that the learner is ready for assessments. All assessments, which includes tests, tasks, exams and orals, will be marked by the Tutor or IMPAQ at the end or during the term. Marks will be captured on my.impaq and parents/learners will receive an Impaq report at the end of each term or as soon as all term marks are finalised.

All the assessments for Grade 12 are marked by Impaq.

Tests and exams are written at our Centres and then sent to Impaq at the end of each term for evaluation.

November exams are written at a SACAI approved Centre and then marked by SACAI. Due to the credibility of SACAI, learners can go to University with this NSC report, should their marks and subjects allow it.

Our fees for 2021 are R3500 per month over a 12-month period (Jan – Dec) and a once off registration fee of R3000 which is due on the day of registration and non-refundable once payment has been made.

The above-mentioned prices do not include Impaq’s curriculum. Parents still need to register their child with Impaq in order to receive all the necessary books/assessment to complete a specific Grade.

Impaq requires a deposit and then the remaining amount can be settled monthly until 1 November of the year in which the learner is registered.

Elohim operates in the area known as assisted learning. Unfortunately, we do not facilitate/tutor children with special needs. In cases where children are ADHD or ADD and on medication that allows them to function on the same level as a child without ADHD or ADD, we can make exceptions. This needs to be communicated with the Head of the Centre and then a decision will be made after a meeting with the parent and tutor have been held.

We do not allow facilitators from outside to assist learners during centre hours and/or during tutoring sessions.

No, children can wear their normal clothes to the Centre as we are not a school, we are a tutor centre.

Monday to Thursday from 08:00 to 13:30
Friday’s from 08:00 to 13:00
We try to keep our times and holidays the same as Government Schools as learners might have siblings that attend Government Schools and parents prefer their children to have holidays on the same dates.

Yes, you do have to. You can contact IMPAQ’S Legal Department for assistance. They will guide you, step-by-step.

We do not offer any extra murals, except for our Grade 1-6 learners that has an hour horse riding at Amado on Tuesdays.

Elohim endeavours to tutor all subjects avaulable to the FET (Furher Education and Traing Phase) also known as the Grade 10 – Grade 12 groups. There are however a few exceptions.

Currently IT, Accounting and Agricultural Studies are not supported. Elohim does however support subjects like Hospitality Studies, Consumer Studies, Engineering Graphics and Design.

Agricultural studies will be accommodated from the 2022 academic year.

Should a subject not be supported and a learner still chooses to take such a subject the responsibility falls on the learner and parent to arrange for additional tuition and support as required. Elohim will still invigilate all the required exams and submit the assessment elements as required by the curriculum. Please check in with us when you do your registration and subject choices for advice.

As from 2022 the Centre will be charging additional fees for subjects like EGD (Engineering Graphics and Design and CAT (Computer Applications and Technology.)

EGD required additional printing for tasks and exams, as well as courier services to get elements to Impaq for marking.

A subject like CAT also requires test and exam work to be couriered to Impaq on memory sticks. Students will be charged for these items in an effort to recover these additional costs that has till now fallen on the centre as additional costs incurred.

EGD will be billed at R150.00 per term

CAT will be billed at R150.00 per term

As from the 2022 Academic Year learners with Impaq Accommodation and Concessioin Status need to register with Elohim for this service. This was already put on the table during the 2020 registration period but we
